What to expect

Expect the unexpected! You might be lucky so bring a camera.

Those who have visited the West Coast of Scotland will know that the weather is unpredictable.

 

Bring  waterproofs, wellies and hiking boots and/or trainers. In the summer the temperature can get up to 25C or down to 16C. Since it is always colder on the sea, bring layers from jerseys down to T-shirts and swimming gear including wetsuits if you have them.

 

Anti-midge sprays and sunscreen are essential.
