Ruantallain Estate
Nature & wilderness holidays on the beautiful isle of Jura, Scotland
sporting holidays
Expertly managed by head stalker Craig Rozga and Ghillie Scott Muir, the estate offers an exciting range of sporting and wilderness experiences for every kind of taste.
A typical stalking or fishing party comprises up to ten people (minimum party size of six) who travel daily from the lodge down to Loch Tarbert (5 minutes away) where they board the estate sea boat, the Blue Marlin. They travel down the sea loch to a number of bays out on the West coast where there are two hill machines to carry the party either to the stalking set-off point, or to a choice of about fifteen wild brown trout lochs varying in size from 25 to 200 acres.
At the end of the day the party reboard the Maplin Warrior and after a spectacular trip back down the loch they arrive back at the Lodge to find tea and scones waiting for them, followed later by a three course dinner.
