The Blue Marlin

Whether you are sporting or family holiday lets the Blue Marlin will play a part in your holiday. The boat is moored in Loch Tarbert and you can go 8 miles up the loch out to the Atlantic and  weather permitting  further up the remote west coast and land at Sian Bay, a lovely white sandy beach. Swimming and barbecuing are popular here on a good day.  From there you can walk back along the coast (2 hours) to the Bothy at Ruantallain, where Craig will pick you up.

Alternatively in the summer months you can fish for mackerel or have a go at fly fishing for brown trout in one of the numerous lochs.

Craig, your guide, is an experienced naturalist and will be able to point out the numerous herds of deer, wild goats and seals which populate the west coast and its shores. You may even see a golden eagle!
